A 400 acre agroforestry initiative, setting out to use tree nuts combined with various other berries, nuts, flowers and mushrooms along with holistic use of animals to cultivate the various ecosystems on the farm.
Our beginning: In 2022 we undertook significant earthworks to slow water on the property and planted 35,000 seedlings - chestnuts, hazlenuts and many other food producing varieties. Cows are now grazing around the trees and cycling nutrients throughout the ecosystems. Much work lies ahead.
